“A Million Little Ways” – The Review

One of my last book reviews for the website LifeIsStory is up.

From the publisher: “A Million Little Ways” uncovers the creative, personal imprint of God on every individual. It invites the discouraged parent, the bored Christian, the exhausted executive to look at their lives differently…

I must admit, I took this book on for review as a bit of a personal challenge to myself. Having been raised in the Roman Catholic church (but now lapsed for years), I am passably familiar with what some might call “God-talk.” Digging in to Freeman’s discussion on how to release the “art” within each of us, whether that art is writing, painting, waiting tables, digging ditches, or what-have-you, I was struck by how familiar it all sounded.
