With the holidays, I feel a bit behind the power curve, but for those of you that haven’t heard yet, the following announcement arrived in my email the other day from the Salt Lake Comic Con Folks about a FanX guest.
Read the entire announcement below, but the really juicy part is what the organizers said on their facebook page about this announcement:
“Please welcome [See Below for name – Shadow], our first Doctor Who guest announcement, to Salt Lake Comic Con FanX 2015!”
The key word there is “first.” Might we have the Whovians’ dream appearance, Matt Smith? David Tennant? I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see!
Doctor Who’s Billie Piper to Attend Salt Lake Comic Con FanX 2015
Billie Piper who is best known as Rose Tyler in Doctor Who, Belle de Jour in Secret Diary of a Call Girl and Brona in the horror TV series Penny Dreadful will be at Salt Lake Comic Con FanX (http://saltlakecomiccon.com/) on Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31, 2015. Piper is Salt Lake Comic Con’s first Doctor Who guest announcement at FanX. Ticket sales for the 2nd Annual Salt Lake Comic Con FanXperience are almost 300% greater than last year’s FanX after three record-breaking events for Dan Farr Productions and will likely sell out with less than 50,000 tickets available for this more exclusive and intimate event. For more information about FanX, including Piper’s bio and a complete list of celebrity attendees visit,http://www.saltlakecomiccon.com/.
Billie Piper joins an already impressive guest line up including Carrie Fisher (Star Wars and When Harry Met Sally), Tom Felton (Harry Potter), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Morena Baccarin (Firefly and Homeland), Brandon Routh (Superman), Felicia Day (The Guild, Supernatural), Ralph Macchio (Karate Kid and My Cousin Vinny) andAlaina Huffman (Supernatural and Battlestar Galactica).
