Yep. It’s that time of year again. Spring. The time when a young man’s thoughts turn to… cosplay.
Salt Lake Comic Con’s FanX 2016 starts today, and the big item on the agenda for the day is not only “how long will it take to get into the show floor?” but also the opportunity to attend the Autograph, Panel, and Photo-op events with Astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
I’ll be attending the panel and photo-op, but frankly couldn’t swing the autograph as well. Money is a thing, and sometimes sacrifices must be made.
Hopefully, I will be able to see some of the vendor floor today, after the photo-op, and will report my thoughts on that later tonight.
I can say that yesterday there was a minor SNAFU at pre-registration concerning the availability of the VIP posters, which weren’t available when they opened, but eventually found their way to the Salt Palace. This forced many people to waste a trip to pick it up earlier in the day and/or make a return trip, but eventually everyone should get theirs.
That’s it for now. See you around the Salt Palace!
